Roquetes va posar punt final a la celebració del seu 175è aniversari amb l’acte d’agermanament amb Saint Marcel sur Aude. En aquest poble francès, que acull l’Ateneu Republicà de Narbona, reposa l’últim alcalde republicà de Roquetes, Joan Castells “l’Àguedo”, exiliat a França i que va morir el 1944. Els alcaldes d’ambdós municipis van descobrir la nova senyalització d’agermanament a l’entrada de Roquetes i també van signar l’acta oficial.
