Després de mesos d'obres, Roquetes ha obert les portes de la nova llar d'infants municipal "La Caramella", un projecte esperat a la ciutat. El nou edifici combina espais a l'aire lliure i aules dotades de material per als més petits, com aquestes joguines de tela fetes a mà per l'Associació de Dones de Roquetes. Així s’ha desprès del discurs de l’alcalde de Roquetes, Ivan Garcia, parlant des del sentiment en un “dia històric”, ha afirmat, després de culminar un projecte “creat amb tot l’amor i ganes”, i finalitzat amb un temps rècord de construcció de cinc mesos. Alhora, definint La Caramella com un “espai emblemàtic” del terme municipal, el batlle roquetenc ha anat desgranant una comparativa entre les gotes de pluja que la formen, i tot l’equip humà, tècnic, institucions i empresa que han pres part en la construcció de l’escola bressol, elogiant-ne la “gran feina i implicació”. “Els infants que en gaudiran són el fruit d’aquesta aigua. Un recinte de 800 metres quadrats La nova llar d’infants municipal ‘La Caramella’ disposa d’un recinte amb 800 metres quadrats de superfície. L’edifici principal, d’una planta, té 400 metres quadrats i compta amb tres aules, una per cada franja d’edat. Alhora, també alberga una sala polivalent, una cuina, una sala de direcció, la recepció i un gran pati. El projecte ha tingut un cost total de 889.802,46 euros, dels quals se n’han finançat 418.000 euros gràcies a una subvenció de fons Next Generation de la Unió Europea, obtinguda per l’Ajuntament. Dilluns, inici amb les 41 places cobertes L’entrada en funcionament de la nova llar d’infants ‘La Caramella’ es produirà aquest mateix dilluns 30 de setembre, amb la totalitat de les 41 places disponibles cobertes, dels cursos d’I0, I1 i I2.
