Amb una participació activa de col·lectius i ciutadania, la trobada tenia l’objectiu de posar sobre la taula conseqüències del model energètic actual i per obrir espais de reflexió i organització al voltant d’un futur energètic just i sostenible. La jornada s’iniciava en una taula de ponències on Alfons Pérez, Sergi Saladié i Ximo Estellé van oferir una anàlisi crítica sobre el context internacional de la transició energètica, la necessitat d’un model distribuït i les lluites ambientals al sud de Catalunya. El debat obert que en va seguir va posar en evidència el rebuig a projectes com les macrocentrals hidroelèctriques reversibles al riu Ebre, tal com recull el manifest PROU!, presentat durant l’acte. Per acabar la jornada, es van compartir experiències de comunitats energètiques i lluites territorials, com la de la plataforma contra el polígon Catalunya Sud, i es va presentar el llibre Transició ecosocial a Catalunya. Una proposta decreixentista. L’espai va servir per teixir aliances entre col·lectius i avançar cap a la creació d’una coordinadora energètica del sud de Catalunya. Source Font. També el delegat del Govern a les Terres de l’Ebre, Joan Castor Gonell, ha posat en valor la qualitat dels treballs participants i el talent de l’alumnat. El segon premi, dotat amb 1.000 euros, se’l va emportar Mireia Mora Izquierdo, estudiant de l’institut els Alfacs de la Ràpita, amb el treball ‘Meravelles marines del delta: explorant les propietats cosmètiques de les cremes a base d’algues’. Dan Galiana Cervera, del Col·legi Sagrada Família de Tortosa, ha guanyat el tercer premi, dotat amb 700 euros, amb el treball ‘Digitalització i anàlisi de les senderes de la Serra de Cardó-Boix a Tortosa’; i el quart premi, dotat amb 500 euros, se l’ha endut Carla Serrat Fernàndez, també de l’Institut els Alfacs de la Ràpita, amb ‘Dones que han fet història a les Terres de l’Ebre’.
