Durant una entrevista a Canal 21 Ebre, la candidata de Junts per Roquetes i la Ravaleta ha assenyalat que els canvis “sempre són positius i necessaris”. En el cas de Roquetes, Esquerra té l’alcaldia des del 2007, i en l’últim mandat ha governat en minoria, ja que no va reeditar el pacte amb Junts. “Hi ha molta més gent que pensa que es necessita un canvi”, ha remarcat Saura, abans de concloure: “Els canvis sempre són necessaris, i jo crec que ara és el moment”. Segons la candidata, cal canviar la gestió municipal i fer més accessible i proper l’Ajutament a la ciutadania.&#13;

De la mateixa manera, Saura ha explicat que el seu equip per a les municipals ja està preparant un programa il·lusionant però “molt realista”, tenint en compte la situació econòmica actual. La candidata de Junts ha dit que se centraran en el benestar de les persones, amb la millora de la via pública i de la convivència. “Al final, serà un projecte d’equip, per sumar a Roquetes, totalment positiu i molt realista, perquè es podrien prometre moltíssimes coses, però al final hem de tocar de peus a terra”, ha advertit. “Tenim un objectiu molt clar, que és el benestar de totes les persones”, ha afegit. “Volem una ciutat neta, cívica, sostenible i que sigui molt atractiva per a les persones que hi vivim i per a les que vénen a veure-la i conèixer-la turísticament”, ha argumentat Saura.&#13;
&#13;
A més, ha apuntat la possiblitat de reaprofitar l’edifici del mercat com un equipament social i cultural, així com el repte de vendre les antigues naus de Lear, o de resoldre la gestió de la piscina coberta. També ha apostat per potenciar la mancomunitat amb Tortosa, tot destacant la seua bona relació amb l’alcaldessa Meritxell Roigé. “Puc dir que he tingut la sort d’aprendre d’una de les millors polítiques que hi ha, que és l’alcaldessa Meritxell Roigé, i de tot el seu equip”, ha refermat Saura. “I tot este aprenentatge que he obtingut de la política municipal ara l’agafo per emprendre este nou camí, i per a vetllar per tindre una relació molt bona, tant amb Jesús com amb Tortosa, perquè al final compartim molt més que dos rotondes. Hi ha moltes més coses en comú, i potser es podrien fer moltes més coses en un conjunt de territori”, ha afirmat.&#13;

En este sentit, Saura ha conclòs que la construcció del nou hospital també serà una gran oportunitat per a Roquetes. “Els terrenys estan. Es van comprar els terrenys, i a natros com a ciutat ens beneficiaria moltíssim, tant a nivell de comerç com d’hosteleria. Seria molt important. I tenim tots uns terrenys que també s’haurien de facilitar per a l’aparcament del futur hospital. Crec que la ubicació és molt bona i que ens aniria bé per als dos municipis”, ha tancat la candidata de Junts per Roquetes i la Ravaleta.&#13;
